What is Squid Game: The Challenge?
Squid Game: The Challenge is a Netflix reality show which is made after the series became a global hit. The show was broadcast in November 2023.
The director of the series Hwang Dong-hyuk created the reality show as well. The show is filmed at Wharf Studios, London.
The cash prize for the winner is $4.56 million and a total players are 456 players compete.
Once the player is eliminated, $10,000 will be added to the prize money. Thus in the first round, the value of each player is 10 grands until he is in the game.
Unlike the series, the contestants do not die once they are eliminated.

LeAnn Wilcox Plutnicki Husband, Kids
LeAnn Wilcox Plutnicki is married to her husband Ken. The couple is parents of three: two daughters, Emma and Ali, and a son Trey Plutnicki.
Her daughter Ali is engaged to her fiance Brian. Her son Trey Plutnicki has a girlfriend Cecilia.
They presently reside in River Edge, Bergen County, New Jersey. The family has a dog, Pluto. Its breed is Golden Doodle.
LeAnn Wilcox Plutnicki Bio, Education
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism at Kansas State University from 1976 to 1980.
LeAnn has been an athlete. Likewise, she is the first woman at Kansas State to receive a full ride on a basketball scholarship.
She was tomboyish while growing up,
“I always had a ball in my hand. I never had dolls. I didn’t see the point of dolls, so I played sports.”
Even after being retired she coaches a 9- and 10-year-old girls’ basketball team in her town.
His son Ken reveals,
“My mom was an athlete. My mom was a really great athlete for her time, and I played several sports in high school and younger, but I ended up going to college.”
LeAnn Wilcox Journalism Career
- From 1984-1989, LeAnn became a Sports Reporter/Editor at The Kansas City Star.
- She then joined the Miami Herald and worked as a Copy Editor and Page Designer.
- She left the Herald to join the New York Times team in 1991 as a Senior Editor. LeAnn continued working at NYT and retired from there.
- After her retirement, she took part in the Netflix reality show Squid Game The Challenge, LeAnn #302.
