What is Squid Game: The Challenge?
Squid Game: The Challenge is a Netflix reality show which is made after the series became a global hit. The show will be broadcast in November 2023.
The director of the series Hwang Dong-hyuk created the reality show as well. The show is filmed at Wharf Studios, London.
The cash prize for the winner is $4.56 million and a total players are 456 players compete.
Once the player is eliminated, $10,000 will be added to the prize money. Thus in the first round, the value of each player is 10 grands until he is in the game. Unlike the series, the contestants do not die once they are eliminated.

Dani Templet Bio, Education
#134 was born Dani Templet in Florida, USA, in June 1999. She is 24 years old.
Templet graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from and University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2017.
She initiated her career as a Marketing Assistant at Capstone Real Estate Investments in Lafayette, Louisiana from January 2019 to July 2021.
Then she joined The Walt Disney Company as a Character performer in Orlando, Florida, from January 2020 until March 2020.
She is also a former Hospitality Supervisor by profession.
In June 2022, she was appointed as a Front Desk Supervisor at Yacht and Beach Club. While she was working there, she became part of the Netflix show, Squid Game: The Challenge.
Why did Dani Templet join the game?
Dani (Player 134)’s main reason for taking part in the competition is because she wanted “a crazy life experience.” She told Tudum,
“I felt real human emotion and real guilt and that is exactly what I needed,”
Adding,
“I needed to stop feeling sorry for myself and just do things. I wasn’t happy with my social life that I had [before the competition], so I threw myself into some new friendships. I even enrolled in therapy, which has been a really great thing for me. This experience was really hard on me, but now I’m happier than I’ve ever been before in my life.”
She was not nice to her fellow contestant, Mothi (Player 200) during the show. Once she was eliminated she contacted him and apologised for whatever happened on the ground.
And he had the sweetest reply,
“He was like, ‘I forgive you. It’s just a game.’ Then he sent the song ‘Don’t Worry Be Happy.’”
